Gift Descriptions
A lot of these giftings also go hand in hand, but not always.
For example, someone with an apostolic gifting usually tends to operate in miracles and faith. Someone who is evangelistic may tend to operate in healing and mercy. Someone who operates in hospitality often operates
in helps and giving, etc...
So the reason there are multiple numbers here is to encourage you that He has given you many gifts, and to see how you can use those many gifts to further the Kingdom!
Also keep in mind that in different seasons He can be utilising different and even new gifts. One season you can be operating in the prophetic, another in the evangelistic. It most likely depends on what the community and people around you need the most.
Don’t limit God in what He wants to give you!
These are a list of the gifts and a brief description of them. There is so much more to each
gift given to us by the Spirit, but these are the brief explanations to start you on the journey
of using them!
“Therefore it says, “When he ascended on high he led a host of captives, and he gave gifts

SUMMARY
Here is a list of the gifts in this test.
There is a difference between the Five Fold Ministry (gifts for the body of Christ, the Church) and spiritual gifts. The Five Fold ministry is five ministries designated to the body to exhort and run the Church. People who are strong within the ministry gifts may be called to the office of the gift within the church. However, these gifts aren’t just for the Church, and God may call for them to be used elsewhere.
“And God has appointed in the church, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers...” 1 Corinthians 12:28
“And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers , to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ,” Ephesians 4:11-13
Always remember, the gifts are meant to point to the Word. It is not the gifts that bring people to Him, it is the truth and His kindness (John 8:32, Romans 2:4). Show His fruit first (Galatians 5:22-23), use the gifts, and see His glory.
It is also important to remember that though we may be more gifted in some gifts over others (1 Corinthians 12:1-6,11,30-31), we do have access to all of the gifts. And all that has been mentioned is best summed up in this verse.
“And I pray that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to comprehend the length and width and height and depth of His love, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do infinitely more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” Ephesians 3:17-21
The point of the gifts is to give glory to God. And if you have a chance to bring Him glory through healing, but you're not usually gifted in this area, still ask and step out in faith. He won’t say “Sorry, you're not gifted in this area so I can’t do it”. No, that is not His character. The more situations you put yourself in to see Him move the more He will be able to
use you, and give you new gifts. He is not limited by our gifting(s), He is a limitless God!
Just as the above verse states, be rooted and led by His love and compassion. Be in unity with the Body of Christ. Know that He has given you the fullness of Himself. And trust He can do infinitely more than we can ever ask or imagine. And you will see His power at work within you.
I pray this test will reveal some of those gifts and power. To reveal more of His grace and love, and let you trust and dream with Him more.
